Please read these terms carefully before using our hosting & IT solutions.
By accessing or using JF Computer Professionals & Consultants' web hosting, domain registration, server management, and IT consultancy services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.
We provide premium web hosting (shared, VPS, dedicated), domain registration, SSL certificates, site backup solutions, security hardening, and professional IT consulting. We reserve the right to modify, upgrade, or discontinue any feature with reasonable written notice (email or client area announcement).
The following are strictly forbidden on our infrastructure:
Shared hosting plans include fair usage limits for CPU, RAM, I/O, and inodes. If a website consistently exceeds allocated resources, we will notify you to upgrade to a VPS or dedicated server to maintain stability for all customers.
We perform automated daily backups for shared hosting accounts as a courtesy. However, clients are solely responsible for maintaining their own off-server backups. JF Computer Professionals is not liable for data loss due to hardware failure, software errors, or any other cause.
We guarantee 99.9% network uptime on all shared, VPS, and dedicated hosting plans. If uptime falls below this threshold in any given month (excluding scheduled maintenance), eligible clients may request a service credit equivalent to 5% of monthly fees per 0.1% below guarantee, capped at 50%.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JF Computer Professionals & Consultants shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business interruption, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the services during the 3 months prior to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JF Computer Professionals, its employees, partners, and affiliates against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these terms, misuse of services, or infringement of third-party rights.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Uganda / East Africa region. Any disputes shall first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation; if unresolved, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration in Kampala, Uganda, in accordance with the Arbitration Act.
We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email and client announcement. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
